Hello Friends.

For years, I have been thinking about setting out my vision of what a Club DJ should take into account when planning for a five or six hour session, to make sure it is coherent and progresses in such a way that people who come to your Club have a great time.

My career began as an assistant in a discotheque in my hometown, it was called TOTEM and later Linea 1.

From that moment on, I have worked in small but charming venues such as:

Tres Nivels, Number One Terrassa, Palapa House Club, Dos Punts Ripollet, Clip Esparraguera, Atlantic Club Barcelona.

I then moved on to larger venues such as:

Quizás, Quiality Vallés, Cybertrack Cubelles, Shiva Club Mataró, Golden Stars, Club 24, Blanco Igualada, Forum Terrassa, Nivel II de Mataró, Roxy Blue Barcelona, Elephant Club Barcelona etc.

Under the formation AVAND CD DJ´S (DJ´S FROM BARCELONA), we toured the main cities of Spain, including CIRCUS SEVILLA, PACHA ZARAGOZA, LA SANTA SEBE, TITO´S MALLOCA, HOOK, THE PASSION, VIA DE LA PLATA, COLUMBUS, EL CEL BARCELONA etc.

In 2001, I took part in the SÓNAR 2001 electronic music festival.

I performed at the M-FESTIVAL, where I shared the event with famous DJ’S such as Erik Morillo, Robbie Rivera, Francesco Farfa, Tim Baker, Pedro del Moral, Mikel Molina, Toni Verdi, Java, Toni Osuna, etc…

I have produced several productions in collaboration with various record labels, such as: Max Musix, Bit Divucsa and Rod’s Music.

Several magazines dedicated to this scene, such as DEEJAY, included an article about my career at Cybertrack and my performance at Sonar-2001 in one of their issues. Several articles in DJ1 magazine, in which I was nominated DJ Revelation of the Year 2001.

In addition to this, for three years, I commented in DJ1 magazine on new electronic music releases, focusing on House music and its various facets.

What motivates me is House music, a style that has different aspects that can be mixed to achieve your goal.

This is why I will be offering different audio and video sessions, as a run through of them.

I want to make it clear that this is only my humble opinion, based on more than 25 years of experience in this scene, and that how you mix them will depend a lot on the clientele you have or want to get.

This is why the mix of these styles will depend very much on what you choose and on the secret ingredients that each DJ brings to the desk.

I am referring here to intuition and psychology.

These ingredients are what differentiate us from one professional to another in this popular profession.

It’s in our personal, non-transferable DNA.

I really like new technologies but I love playing vinyl.

I’m one of those people who believe that there’s strength in numbers, so I really enjoy playing with both turntables and controllers, and all the creative potential they bring.

There are many musical styles.

I don’t think any one is better or worse than another.

It’s just that artists express themselves better with some tools rather than others and the one that brings out the best in me is called House Music.

If you’re a professional or aspiring DJ, a lover of music and Club Culture, I would love to have you among my friends.

The more of us there are, the better off we will be.

I’m looking forward to hearing from you!!!!
